Reldon High School, And the drama begins...

Nakita gave up quickly in her efforts of making the wall interesting and turned to the clock to see what time it was and was relieved to see there was only minutes left in the class. She started packing her bag trying not to think about time so it would go by faster.

Vince looked over to the where someone was calling his name and saw Jace waving his hands, trying to get his attention. Vince smiled, glad he had found a friend amongst all the other faces. "Jace! How are you?" Vince called back waving.

Tuesday looked at the clock and smirked slightly when she saw that class would be ending soon.

"Later!" she called over her shoulder, before picking up her stuff and leaving class.

'Ah,' she thought to herself. 'The joys of being a student aide. Leaving early, getting an extra hour and a half of sleep... Life is good. I guess I'll go wait for Teagan.'

Teagan sighed unhappily as she finished with the forms.

"Finally! That took forever! Hel Skali, you done yet? What class do you have next?" she asked, turning to face her. "I'm going to Calculus, I think."

"Umm..." Skali looked back down at her schedule, "I have Chemistry next." She looked up, then realized what she just said and looked down at her schedule again, hoping that she was mistaken. She wasn't.
Oh no, not chemistry again...I really hope that I don't have a repeat of last year...

Jace moved to a seat closer to Vince. "Can't really say, summer's summer, nothing's changed, and I'm still bored with life. But I did get a job at the smoothie shop nearby. If you come over, I'll give you a discount," Jace conspiratorally winked. "How about you? I haven't seen you all summer!"

"Ah," Teagan nodded. "I had that last year! Fun class. My friends and I set soooo many things on fire! But what about lunch? What lunch do you have? You should sit with me!"

Nakita turned back to the clock when she was done packing and began grumbling about how easy and quick it was to pack a bag since hardly a minute had gone by. She started reciting her schedule in her head and imagining herself walking down the halls to her classes. She unknowingly ended up glaring at a person; since it's just something she does when she's absorbed in her thoughts.

"I thought I saw you once, but it ended up being someone else. They thought I was crazy, but really? Discounted smoothies! Expect to see me everyday from now on." Vince laughed joyfully. "But yeah I see what you mean about how nothing has changed." Vince said getting more serious. "Dad still has two jobs and I'm still playing tennis. I practiced all summer like the last. I haven't gotten any better though." Vince smiled. "But I don't think I can get any better. I think I can beat pretty much everyone now." He said cockily leaning back in his seat smiling enormously while crossing his arms.

Teagan gasped excitedly when the bell rang.

"Omigosh finally! I thought we'd never get out! Find me later at lunch if you can! You have to meet my bestest buddy!" she told Skali before running out.

"Tuesday!!! Where are you?" she yelled, running out into the hallway.

Tuesday waved causually to Teagan as she turned into the hallway.

"Yo! I'm over here!" she yelled.

Tuesday was totally unsurprised when Teagan tackle-glomped her.

"Tay, my love, must we go through this every year on the first day of school?" she sighed. "I just saw you yesterday!"

Barely hearing her comment, Skali grabbed her things and ran off to her next class, anxious to get a good seat in the back this time. She hated chemistry, because she was always picked on in that class. She hoped that this year it'll be different.

Jace laughed along with Vince. He knew Vince was the best tennis player in the school, but also knew that getting cocky was never a good thing. "Well, you never know until you go to nationals again!" The bell rang, and he sighed. "So what next for you? I just wish this day was over so I can crash. I haven't slept a wink last night." He yawned, gathering his stuff.

Teagan giggled, "Why, of course! It wouldn't be the first day of school without me glomping you now would it?"

She releases Tuesday and the two started walking down the hallway.

"Anyway, I have math next and then after that I have first lunch. You?" she asked.

Tuesday shrugged.

"I think I have Enviromental Science, but I'm not really sure. Oh well. I guess I have to go the other way. Bye Tay! See you at the usual spot for lunch!" she said, before turning around and walking to her science class.

When the bell rang Nakita shot up from her seat, swung her bag onto her shoulder and was the first one out the door. She made a bee-line to her next class, math. She was completely dreading it and wished it was summer again.

Vince grinned remembering the nationals last year, the best part of his life. When the bell rang Vince started shoving all of his belongings into his bag and lifted it onto his back once he had made sure nothing had fallen to the floor in his rush.
He heard Jace ask "So what's next for you? I just wish this day was over so I can crash. I haven't slept a wink last night."
"Uh" Vince said hesitantly tring to recall his schedule and completely failing so he had to drop his bag back onto the desk and dig through his bag to find it while saying "Yeah I would give anything to still be sleeping on my couch at home. It took me forever to fall asleep. You know the stress before the first day kept me up again and it got to you, too, right?" He pulled out an all ready crumpled peice of paper and opened it to find that it was his schedule. "Um. Chemistry?" Vince said as he studied his schedule for a couple seconds before he shoved it this time into his pants pocket so he didn't have the same problem with trying to find it again.
